  • Rany Sader

    Legal Consultant, Senior Lebanese Lawyer and Rule of Law Expert. Rany J. Sader is a distinguished legal consultant and project lead with extensive experience in Rule of Law initiatives across the Middle East, with over 25 years of experience. As Chief Legal Innovation Officer at SADER, the oldest legal knowledge provider in the region established in 1863, Rany has led numerous high-impact projects aimed at modernizing legal frameworks, enhancing access to justice, and strengthening regulatory systems. He has advised several governments, including the United Arab Emirates, on comparative law solutions and Rule of Law reforms, focusing on improving legal infrastructure and aligning national frameworks with international standards.

    As the founding partner of SADER & Associates (Advocates & Legal Consultancy), Rany has also provided strategic legal consultancy to multinational corporations and public institutions, guiding legal reforms and policy development. His work includes leading the creation of SADERLex, the largest legal database in Lebanon, the UAE, and the Middle East, and overseeing LAITRON, an AI-powered platform that transforms legal research and decision-making. 

    Fluent in Arabic, French, and English, Rany is also a published author and a frequent speaker at global conferences, where he shares insights on Rule of Law, LegalTech, and intellectual property. His deep expertise and leadership continue to drive significant advancements in legal modernization and governance across the region.

  • Mark Prevezer

    Described as a Senior Statesman in the UK and international legal world,for over 40 years, Mark has advised some of the world's foremost blue chip, institutional, Government and public sector clients on projects. Both in roles as a lawyer, and trusted advisor.

    In a highly respected and reputationally successful career at both International and City law firms, he has served in various roles as a Founder, Managing Partner, Senior Partner, Global Sector Head, and Consultant for leading international law firms.

    With strong, and proven, networking and business development skills, Mark is well known for giving strong pro-active advice, and for being very hands on, driving projects through to completion.  

    A lateral thinker (he is a well-known amateur chess player who has played the world champion Magnus Carlsen on 4 occasions), his skills are combined with a proven intellectual strength in developing strong personal and working relationships.

    As a consequence, he is also well known for advising, and mentoring, Law Firms, and Partners, (as well as Founders and Managing Partners) throughout the world, on a confidential basis, as to their internal structures and disciplines, international ambitions and business development, cross cultural differences, and on Law Firm ethical and best practices.

  • Hussam Saba

    Hussam Saba is an accomplished expert in Financial and Organizational Management with 37 years of experience spanning the non-profit and private sectors. He specializes in rule of law initiatives, legal publishing, and the end-to-end management of complex, multi-stakeholder projects, particularly those funded by international donors.

    As the Managing Partner and Shareholder of Middle East Legal Publishing (Off-Shore) SAL, Hussam leads strategic initiatives to advance legal knowledge across the MENA region. His work with SADER Legal Publishing includes managing large-scale legal informatics projects, improving access to legal information, and supporting the promotion of the rule of law.

    Hussam is known for his strong project management leadership, having successfully overseen multiple high-impact programs. He served as a financial consultant for the Unite Lebanon Youth Project (ULYP) for over a decade, managing financial operations, reporting, and compliance for donor-funded projects. As a grants consultant on the USAID-funded BALADI program with the Caritas Lebanon consortium, he played a key role in project design, implementation oversight, and capacity-building for local municipalities.

     Additionally, he acted as a training specialist for the PACE Learning Center project, implemented by SIDC and KDC, where he managed training program development, coordination, and evaluation.

    His leadership in large-scale rule of law and governance projects includes managing the USAID-funded Transparency and Accountability Grants (TAG) program through AMIDEAST/Lebanon for 10 years. In this role, Hussam was responsible for the full project cycle—strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, risk management, and reporting—while driving initiatives that strengthened transparency, accountability, and legal compliance among civil society organizations.

    Hussam also provides comprehensive consultancy services to NGOs in Europe and the MENA region. His support covers the design and implementation of organizational structures, financial systems, HR policies, and governance frameworks, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to legal standards. His project management approach focuses on sustainability, capacity building, and alignment with international donor requirements.
